For users of satellite navigation systems or internet based route planner, the post code is MK44 1LQ If approaching from London or the South on the M1, it is usually better to avoid Bedford (Junction 13) and go cross-country from Junction 14, on A509 via Newport Pagnell to Olney, then follow signs for Lavendon, Harrold, Odell and Sharnbrook. As you come into Sharnbrook, go straight over the roundabout next to Sharnbrook School, continue for 500m and take first left (Lodge Road), then turn right onto Colworth Road, proceed 100m then turn sharp left (signposted) into the Colworth Science Park site. If approaching Sharnbrook from the A6 (the Bedford-Rushden road), follow signs for Sharnbrook, and proceed West through the centre of the village on the High Street (past shops, pub and post office). As you leave the built up area, take the left turn onto the Colworth Road, signposted Unilever Research Colworth, rather than continuing on to Souldrop. After 100m turn right into the Colworth site. Entering the Colworth Science Park site : Follow the road onto the site through landscaped parkland for about 1 km (take care crossing the narrow bridge). Report to the Security Gatehouse who will give you a visitor's pass and direct you to the Isleworth building where Insense is based. |
